The maintenance HAS completed however they may be a fair amount of bugs.
Please make sure you have done the following:
1. Download the EssenceRO 6.2 client if you're not already using it
2. Delete the X-Ray folder INSIDE of the data folder. Install EssenceRO 6.2 (uninstall older versions)
3. Ensure that the 6.2 client is patched up by running EssenceRO Patcher.exe

Major Server Maintenance (January 27)
A rather large maintenance will take place Wednesday morning at around 8am server time. This maintenance will take about an hour or two, and will see the introduction of Battlefields as well as a number of important changes to WoE 2.0 mechanics as well as castle rewards.

Australia Day
Hello, everyone. With tomorrow being Australia Day, we have a small event NPC written by Atashi. It gives you an Australian Flag Hat. This NPC will only be available for a couple days so look out for it now in celebration of Australia Day!
Hint:
Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong (in the Prontera fields)
Under the shade of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched and waited 'til his billy boiled
"You'll come a-Waltzing Matilda, with me"
And while we're at it, we may as well take this opportunity to announce a few more things.

About a month or two ago there was a quick short maintenance that went unannounced. We did not announce it at the time because we were expecting another one shortly after, but as it's taken longer than expected we may as well show the changes from it now. They are mostly minor things and skill fixes, however it does also include the Hidden Enchantment system.

Rule Revisions
Real Money Trades will now be treated as Severe Offenses if publicy advertised.
And an amendment to the Custom Quest Info rule:
We will no longer forbid players from publicly talking about custom quest information. We will still only give out a hint when a new quest is released, however once you locate the quest you may tell others as much as you want. You can even make a wiki page for it, which is highly recommended.

The server time has been changed to Central Standard Time (CST) to match the server's location. This will make the server time 2 hours behind the previous Atlantic time. Note however that this will NOT conflict with WoE times or Survival Arena times. The display times will be different, but they will be the same real times you're all used to. For example, Wednesday WoEs will be displayed as 19:00 rather than 21:00. In real time, this is the same time it's always been. The displayed time is the only thing that has changed.
Character Slots:
The number of character slots has increased with the new client. You should now be able to see all 15 slots available for use.
Main Chat:
Main chat is now on by default. This is meant to be used for chatting. Please do not use it for buying/selling purposes, use the Broadcaster for that instead. Expect to be muted for a duration if you try to use Main chat as a marketplace. If you do not wish to see Main Chat. You can exit by using @exit Main. You can set @exit Main to automatically be executed upon login through the Essence Kafra under "@command Management"
